I was trying to setup the gazebo tf publisher for my own robot (ackermann steering vehicle) however for some reason I don’t get the lidar messages through to Rviz with the following message:
[rviz2-12] [INFO] [1678951875.772297900] [rviz2]: Message Filter dropping message: frame ‘lidar_link’ at time 16.169 for reason ‘Unknown’
Camera image comes through okay.
Any ideas what could be the issues?

What is the Exercise (or Example) Number?
Although, I am not sure, could it be that you are using
lidar_link instead of
