Arduino IDE setup in ROS enquiry

Hi RobotIgnite, All,

I’m wanting to install the Arduino IDE in ROS,

I tried the links above, have downloaded the git clone https://github.com/ros-drivers/rosserial.git to my catkin_ws/src workspace,

tried catkin_make and catkin_make_isolated

error of cmake occurs,

Have to upgraded the Cmake version to 3.7 as it stated in the error?

Hi @duckfrost,

I got further now,

but when I run the command: rosrun rosserial_python serial_node.py _port:=/dev/ttyACM1 _baud:=115200

I get this error:

Unable to sync with device; possible link problem or link software version mismatch such as hydro rosserial_python with groovy Arduino

I tried 9600 rate as well, still same error…,

Any suggestions please?
