I am using Ubuntu, and whether it’s firefox or Chrome, working on any project sucks up over 100% of CPU resources. Why is that? I thought you were the ones hosting everything, and i am just interfacing with it? Is that not the case?

Yes, we’re hosting everything, but your browser needs a decent amount of CPU and memory to load the graphics on the page.
That said, that shouldn’t be 100% of CPU resources. This site runs well on medium-end PCs. Things you can check:
