Quiz - URDF Gurdy

Dear Experts @staff
I am trying to spawn my model in Gazebo. However the spawn is not working. I have already checked it with the command check_urdf and I have generated the urdf pdf with graphiz command too…it is all ok, as it was asked to do…
I also sourced the bash, and cleaned the gazebo/models directorie and copied again the model from my ws with the apppropriate commands and respecting the bug to return to the first class of the module too.However
I also used the command rosservice call gazebo get world properties…and just the ground is in Gazebo unfortunately. Well follow below my error, if you could help me please.

roslaunch my_gurdy_description spawn_gurdy.launch

I am also having error when I visualize in Rviz. At first I don’t see the gurdy meshes in Rviz just the frames of base link and head link…and the TF from all the other links (upper and lower legs) did not work, however the robot was connected correctly as my pdf exhibited me the tree (it is ok). Maybe I put the wrong values in joints origin…because the upperegs-head joints connection were easy I had a drawn to do it. BUT the lower legs and the foot was pretty hard, so I used Pitagoras and the height size of the link to find out how distant the joints should be from upper link regarding y axis (is this correct?). Actually I used in x and in z the values which form the main diagonal of Pitagoras (link length).
Well… the main part of the error follows below:

roslaunch my_gurdy_description urdf_visualize_copy.launch model:=’$(find my_gurdy_description)/urdf/gurdy.urdf’

Ok, I’ve detected an issue that this might do the trick:

You just have to replace the name of the meshes package by the one that is installed in the system.
So go to for example your gurdy.urdf.xacro and replace all the occurrences of my_gurdy_description by gurdy_description. I tested this and the gurdy spawned without any issue.

I think this will allow you to finish the course without any problems.

We will try to fix this issue as soon as possible.

@duckfrost thanks for the reply,but my issue is before the xacro lesson. It is about spawn the gurdy URDFmodel in the Quiz project (not the xacro version). Is the same idea of meshes the issue is related?
