Problem with animation (implementing knowledge from ROS Navigation in 5 Days)


Hello guys,

I’m having an issue with my animation; essentially, when I generated an animated person, as you can see here, the LIDAR cannot read the person moving; you can see from the image that the laser has recognised two persons, but there is nothing in the between. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this ?

It’s very hard to tell without being able to test… Could you create this project in a rosject so that you can share it with us easily for testing? I’ve found some references to similar issues but they remain unanswered, like here

I solved the problem, it was by introducing collision to the actor in the world file.
