Hi - I’m getting through the coursework but the bottom screen goes gray as I am working in it. I modify a line or two of Python code and I lose connection. It does not restore so I have to reset the course. This happens every few minutes, so I have to constantly go to change the directory and get into the virtual environment. It takes more time to do this than to do the programming. What can I do to fix this?
I have tried to go to the prior unit, and then to the current unit, but this does not fix the problem.
I apologize for this problem. Could you please check these two points, which are usually the cause when the terminal is disconnecting intermittently:
Internet connection speed stability: if the speed is very slow (less than 2mbps) and/or the connection is unstable, this usually happens. Could you check this and change to another connection if possible?
You’re behind a firewall that blocks websocket connections (ws: or wss:)
