I accidentally used rm -rf on my source directory. I then followed an online suggestion to try to recover my files and ended up checking out my most recent commit, which was before starting my current project.
Is there any way to recover these files?

In addition to what @rtellez said, on which specific course did this happen? We save files for each course separately, so we need to know the course in order to attempt a recovery to an earlier version.
