What parameters should I change to make the global costmap take the map info from the /map topic. I do not have a static map. I have a map being created on the fly using slam_gmapping node.

Hello @Mohamed_Tolba ,
If you don’t have a static map, then you shouldn’t be taking the data from the /map
topic but from the laser data instead.
