Gazebo CPU vs GPU

Hello guys ,
“Gazebo doesn’t depend on the GPU**. It mostly works on the CPU side But I suggest using GPU for better desktop experience while Gazebo is handling your simulation on your powerful CPU.”

  1. part of question: Why gazebo running just on CPU? If i have little more complikated model in enviroment with more collision Gazebo is totally slow with real time faktor around 0.05, that fakt makes GAZEBO totally useless. Is there some magic trick how to hadle that ?

  2. part of question: Is there some Gazebo alternatives what works with GPU without a lot of configuration changes of robot model like jackal, kinova etc… ?
