Failure of Local Planner

Hello All,

When I try to navigate the robot, the command prompt sometimes said the DWA planner failed to produce path. I wonder whether if this failure is related to the bad tuning for the local planner params inside the .yaml file? If not, what would be the other reasons for this failure? Thanks!

If it’s only failing sometimes, then it is probably something related to the parameters, yes. In fact, it is a very interesting exercise to modify the planner parameters to try to improve its effectiveness of it.
