Failed when installing iri_wam on my local machine

I cloned the iri_wam package for ROS Noetic to my local machine and put in my /catkin_ws/src directory. However, when I run catkin_make I get

Is it possible to help me take a look at this and see what to do? I was trying to install hokuyo_node, however, they do not have a version for Noetic.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Bolun,

You have rightly diagnosed the problem here: you need to install the missing software. You could contact them to see how you can use that on Noetic. If they don’t have a version for Noetic, they you may need to consider an alternative to Hokuyo or maybe Noetic.

PS: We don’t officially support local installations as they can be tricky and time-consuming and are hardly straightforward, and we just don’t have the resources to support them. That said, we try to support as much as possible.
