Cannot download (with the message 'Preparing download...')

Hi,
I managed to download files from the IDE to my PC last week.
But, when I try to download them now, the message ‘Preparing download…’ pops up and the file is not downloaded.
I did not change any setting of my browser too.
Appreciate it if anyone can tell me what could have gone wrong.
